The National e-Vidhan Application (NeVA) is a transformative digital initiative launched by the Government of India to modernize legislative processes nationwide. Spearheaded by the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs and developed by the National Informatics Centre (NIC), NeVA aims to make legislative assemblies paperless, efficient, and more transparent.
🧩 What is NeVA?
NeVA is a cloud-based, workflow-driven platform hosted on NIC’s MeghRaj cloud infrastructure. It is designed to digitize and streamline the functioning of legislative bodies, enabling them to conduct all proceedings electronically. The platform is member-centric and device-neutral, meaning legislators can access it via smartphones, tablets, or desktops.

- Mobile Accessibility: The mNeVA mobile app is available on Android and iOS, allowing members to access legislative information anytime, anywhere.
- Digital Communication: Includes Speaker & Minister Pads for internal communication and a Business Controller for managing agenda items efficiently.
- Secure Member Portals: Each legislator has a secure page for submitting questions and notices.
